In today’s digital age, Artificial Intelligence continues to grow in power and influence. Yet, as the Bhagavad Gita reminds us, “Yogaḥ karmasu kauśalam” true wisdom lies in the skill of right action. Machines may compute, but only human intellect can discern dharma, what is right, ethical, and compassionate.
The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali teach us, “Yogas chitta vritti nirodhah” yoga is the stilling of the mind’s fluctuations. No algorithm can replace the inner discipline that allows us to master distractions, cultivate balance, and live with awareness in a hyperconnected world.
And the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad remind us, “Ātmanastu kāmāya sarvam priyam bhavati” it is the Self that gives meaning and value to all we seek. Technology may extend our reach, but it is our inner consciousness that gives life purpose.
Digital wellbeing is not about rejecting technology, but about preserving the sanctity of human intellect, creativity, and compassion.
